In this series I'm going to share some stuff that I'm doing "behind the scenes" when I'm creating artwork with tools such as Adobe Stager!
I started this scene with a simple model which I wanted to represent some sort of rock underwater.
Since it was quite plain I used custom height, normal, and base color maps to make it more interesting and detailed. With that done, I was able to turn this really simple object into a totally different piece.
I finalized the scene with a water surface, using the basic water material from Stager and a simple spotlight lined from above the water. All in all, this scene was quite simple to set up and I mainly focused on the rock element and lighting.
